Please read these terms of service carefully before using this site. By using this site you are agreeing to these terms of service, in accordance with English Law, and submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts. If you do not agree with any of the terms below you should not use the site. We may change the terms of service at any time without notifying you.
Products
All products listed on the website are subject to availability and delivery costs. All purchases are subject to the laws of the United Kingdom. Products listed on the site are subject to change without notice. Certain Products may be delivered by us in bud to ensure longer life. In the event that a product cannot be supplied for reasons beyond our control, we reserve the right to substitute the product or part of it, with a product of equivalent value and style, without notice. In the event that we are unable to supply the product or any substitute, we shall notify you as soon as reasonably possible and issue a full refund. Some products, flowers or plants may be harmful or poisonous. If you require further information before submitting an order please contact us.
Prices
All prices and fees are listed in British Pounds (GBP). Prices include the prevailing rate of VAT. If for any reason a price listed on the website is incorrect, we have the right to refuse or cancel an order that has been made. If a payment has been made for a product which has been cancelled, a full refund will be issued within a reasonable period of time, and no later than 30 days from cancellation. Prices are liable to change at any time, however changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
Payment and Order confirmation
We cannot accept orders from customers under the age of eighteen (18) years. Submitting your Order Form is subject to our acceptance of this offer and we will not consider ourselves bound by a contract with you unless we have issued you a confirmation of order delivery by email. When placing an order you shall be required to provide personal details including an accurate postcode, intended recipient and all necessary payment details. We accept most major debit and credit cards. We are under no obligation to deliver any goods ordered until payment has been received in full. In the event that the requested goods are unavailable, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund within a reasonable time, no later than 30 days from cancellation. By confirming the order you are consenting to the terms of service as stated anywhere on the website.
Delivery
Our delivery service is only within the United Kingdom. For postcodes available for delivery, please see the specific products as stated on the ‘Shop’ page of the website. Delivery dates and locations will be clearly displayed on each product and will need to be selected prior to payment. You will receive email confirmation with your delivery date and location once payment has been completed. If your chosen delivery location is outside those available, your order will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. Inaccurate personal details submitted may lead to problems or delays in your delivery. Please submit a daytime contact telephone number or email address so that we can notify you in the event of any problems. We reserve the right to use contact details provided on the order form. We will endeavour to make all reasonable attempts to ensure your product is delivered on the date requested. However, occasionally unavoidable circumstances cause disruption to delivery. In these circumstances we shall notify you as soon as possible and either make alternative delivery arrangements or issue a full a refund. In these circumstances we do not take responsibility for issues outside of our control.
Delivered products will need to be signed upon acceptance by the named recipient. If the named recipient is not available to accept the delivery at the provided address, a neighbour or documented safe place will be used. We cannot accept responsibility if the goods have been correctly delivered but details provided of the intended recipient are incorrect or the received refuses/fails to return the product. If the recipient/neighbour is not available to accept the delivery, no safe place is stated on the order form, and contact cannot be made with the recipient at the time of delivery, the product will be left in the safest place deemed by the carrier, and card left at the property documenting this safe place. We cannot accept responsibility if products are delivered but not received by the recipient. Please ensure all special delivery instructions are documented at the time of purchase. In case of delivery to third party locations eg. Offices, hospitals, hotels, other business locations, the signature of any authorised persons to accept deliveries on behalf of the recipient will be accepted as proof of delivery to the recipient.
Changes to order and cancellation
Orders of ‘Shop’ items may be cancelled 7 days prior to intended delivery date. Any items cancelled or amended after this time will not be offered a refund. You are entitled to cancel any payment at any time where fraudulent use has been made of your credit or debit card by another person not acting on behalf of you or as your agent and to be re-credited by us to the extent that such sums are not reimbursed by the card issuer in such circumstances. To amend or cancel your order please contact us via email or telephone as above.
Complaints
In the event that you are not satisfied with the Online Service any complaints should be directed to enquiries@chartleyflowers.co.uk. Because of the perishable nature of Products and in order to assist us in resolving any complaints quickly, we advise you to make any complaint within 1 working day of the date of delivery or intended delivery of your purchase.
